About
Eva Fajčíková (*1990) is a Slovakian painter whose work primarily focuses on chaos, subversion, and entropy, with an important emphasis on the connection between the female figure and nature.
In her practice, she combines elements of existing mythologies, folklore, and spirituality, and subsequently creates a personal mythology that crystallizes into figurative paintings featuring exclusively female figures. The core of her interest lies in
non-normative behaviors and symbols, which she explores through a series of interconnected projects, each approaching the topic from a different perspective.
Her works have been exhibited in the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary. She completed her master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Fajčíková lives and works in Prague.
