In „Game Palace of the Hell Master“ Eva Fajčíková creates a multi-sensory environment where painting, ritual, and scent intertwine into an alchemical experience. Her installation unfolds as a world of chaos, decay, and transformation, where distinctions between the sacred and the carnal dissolve. Through paintings, perfumed relics, and ritual objects bound by chains and wax, Fajčíková explores the hidden energies of feminine power and subversion.
Developed during residencies at IndustraArt and MeetFactory the project positions magic as a language of resistance — a non-normative practice that challenges patriarchal and institutional orders. Female archetypes such as witches, vampires, and mythic figures reclaim agency and instinct, embodying rebellion as a form of the sacred.
By reintroducing scent — long neglected in Western aesthetics — Fajčíková invites viewers into an immersive rite where myth and matter converge. The „Game Palace of the Hell Master“ thus becomes both altar and threshold: a site of transformation, defiance, and transcendence.
